Kai Bradbury will be joining the cast of the hit revival, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, when it returns to Nickelodeon! On March 24, 2022, Nickelodeon renewed the limited series for a third season which will feature a new cast and be dubbed as “Ghost Island” when it comes out most likely at the top of next year, if not later this year in the last quarter.
Kai is rumored to be joining the cast in the third episode of the season as Captain Jonas Cutter, no details have emerged about his character so far but we will be keeping an eye out for any news!
In other terms, Kai has teased us about appearing when he posted a story on his Instagram from one of his co-stars announcing AYAOTD’s return and then shared an article over on his twitter furthering details.

There was an update to Kai’s film, Stargazed, as they announced that the film is nearing completion and hoping to be sent to the Festival rounds soon which means that the film should most likely be online for watching by the end of next year or 2023!
You can read their update below:
Dear supporters,
We apologize for our absence from our campaign page, as we’ve been hard at work to finish Stargazed; and have been met with many obstacles over the last year as you can probably imagine. It was never our intention to keep anyone in the dark, it’s just been a difficult couple of years and producing a low-budget independent short film at this scale is no easy task.
We are excited to share with you that the film is finished shooting and is well on it’s way in post production; which means we are deep in the editing process of the film and should soon arrive at picture lock. Once picture is locked we will move onto sound designing the film, as well as colour correcting, titling and applying the soundtrack.
It’s been a long road to get here and we still have some of the mountains left to climb but we want to assure you that your support is so appreciated and has made so much of the making of this movie possible. Once the film is complete we will submit it to festivals and hopefully have Stargazed run the festival circuit, which usually takes a year; and then finally the film will be online for everyone to see. We are so excited to share what we’ve made with all of you. This movie was made with nothing but determination and passion with collaborators we are lucky to call friends and it’s been an absolute labour of love.
We will be attentive to keep everyone more informed on the status of the project. Again, we’re sorry if anyone felt left behind, we’ve just been very busy putting out fires, jumping hurdles, and doing our very best to create a product you can all be proud you had a part in. We’re proud of what we’ve made so far, so hopefully, the final product will be worth the wait.
Our sincerest thanks,
The stargazed team

Kai made a splash for Virgin River fans when he debuted as Denny in episode 10 of season 3, looking for Doc. The news broke last week about Kai being upgraded to a series regular for the next season which means we could potentially get a lot more content from the main man while on set! You can read the full exclusive news about Kai’s new role below or the full article over at Deadline, who originally broke the good news!
& the article:

Bradbury will portray Denny Cutler, Doc’s (Matheson) long-lost grandson. He shows up in Virgin River to forge a connection with the grandfather he just recently learned about. But Denny comes bearing a dark secret.
Bradbury was the series lead in CBC/CW series Warigami. His other recent credits include a heavily recurring role on Motherland: Fort Salem, and appearances on Netflix’s Altered Carbon, CW’s Supernatural and Amazon’s The Boys as well as films for Lifetime. Global TV finally has given us a little bit of breadcrumbs about it’s newest series, Family Law, by a small teaser posted to Instagram on May 7th. It’s just cited as “Coming Soon” with no airdate announced but we have hopes it will release within in the next couple of months! Kai is currently listed as being in one episode on IMDb but we will have to wait and see if he appears in more when the show starts airing.

We are getting closer to the second season of the hit series Motherland: Fort Salem where Kai will be featured as Gerit Buttonwood, hopefully in a bigger capacity than in season one. While the press release doesn’t mention Kai (or any of the boys to be exact), we hope for a bigger role for Gerit and to finally see his powers.

Second Season of the Witch Drama Premieres Summer 2021
In the anticipated second season of “MOTHERLAND: FORT SALEM,” premiering summer 2021, Raelle, Tally and Abigail confront higher stakes, dangerous magic and a new threat from an ancient group of witch-hunters, the Camarilla. In the first season, we saw our trio of young witches follow in the footsteps of their foremothers, defending the nation from The Spree as part of the United States Army. Their training is intensified when they are promoted to attend War College, where their magic, relationships and beliefs will be pushed to the limits. While General Alder seeks out new witches to join the wars to come, The Spree and the Army learn their fight may no longer be with one another. But how can two enemies work together to thwart a hatred that won’t stop until all witches are exterminated? “Motherland: Fort Salem” stars Taylor Hickson, Jessica Sutton, Ashley Nicole Williams, Amalia Holm, Demetria McKinney and Lyne Renee. It is written and created by Eliot Laurence. With Laurence, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick are executive producers. Amanda Tapping, Erin Maher, Kay Reindl and Bryan Q. Miller will also serve as executive producers on the series.
